Also, when you enter a block of text, select it and put “quotes” around it,
(which you do when the button doesn't work…)
subesequent letters also apper in the “quote box” upon display.

Why not?

I know about the QUOTE AND REPLY issue and am working on the javascript conflict. Can't locate the exact cause yet! Sorry..until I took the site live I can find all issues..no one can! SORRY SORRY SORRY for those that are not happy with a change.

Without appearing to be disdainful, I hope:
I think i read somewhere that you are running win7,
which has VM:
you know what, that's too hard unless you already know about it.
================
Google has some freebie tools that willl help you find java and other flaws in the page flows.
I'm not that good at it myself, but I've done it and it ain't hard.
“My” site was “hijacked” by another fellow,
although I owned the DNS rights:
and I had to grind into SMF software real quick and find out where the SOB
had changed “the permissions”.
Without the “help desk”, I woulda been hosed:
and that's where you need to go to ask questions.
Hopefully you didn't actually “pay” for this software.
Alrighty, I'll answer anything i can..
but YOU need to bootstrap your FUNCTION
into somehting accommodating the responsibilities you have assumed, presumed /
and otherwise undertaken.
YOU are not “the value” here.
ALL OF US are the value.
And those who do not learn from their mistakes,
will sure as hell repeat them.
Do NOT make we who have supported CTOA
conclude that “we have made a mistake” by contributing here.
(As is currently the case in my neck of the woods.)
out.

The old forums is a XOOPS PHP file called NEWBB but it is a outdated module that I can not find any support in the groups to make a conversion.
I have worked with moving SQL data and manipulating it too, but the structure of the old forums data is not compatable.
Thus working out a easy and friendly searchable ARCHIVE is my objective. For those that can offer ideas and input..by all means post or PM me..I am listed as a FRIEND on every member here on the site. Yes, even DavidIAM
I am NOT THE ENEMY..and anyone who has been around here notr only knows that but as some earlier post show…beleive it..
To all of you THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND BELIEF IN THE CTOA site.

David,
I'm sorry that your alleged attempt to usurp and codify a Chinese tractor repair manual was accidentally cut short… See you later, somewhere…

Also, when you enter a block of text, select it and put “quotes” around it,
(which you do when the button doesn't work…)
subesequent letters also apper in the “quote box” upon display.
Once you highlight it and click the QUOTE button, hit your return key and then CLICK ON THE QUOTE ICON to turn the quote back off.
You will know it is right because your cursor will move back to the far left !!
Hope that helps
