Has anyone out there replaced a driven gear in a 354LE. A bad shift fork weld broke and took 2 teeth off my 2nd driven gear (on main shaft). I split the tractor between the intermediate axle and drive gearbox, but can't figure out how to remove the shaft and gear. I'm anxious to get this back together and would appreciate advice.

        Thanks,   Mike

I may not have the best memory but I am pretty sure i never saw the original post!

I disagree with your opinion that there is no need to answer the simple questions. What is simple to you isnt simple to all of us. We all have to start somewhere.

Besides….I would be the guy asking those kinds of questions!

I wouldn't worry about answering a post that is almost a year old, even if I didn't know that he already had the answer.deadhorse

Avenue, I can help you on the manual for a 254. If you contact Northern Tool they used to sell a very good manual for the NT254 and probably still do.
