Thought I'd run this by you all.  I have addressed the problem with the constant purging of hyd oil from the vent by adding a 3' line and building a separate reservoir mounted close to the top of the roll over bar.  Made it from 4″ PVC, two caps on the end. line goes into the bottom and a vent tube at the top.  My system creates so much air that this type of mod was needed.  I can’t seem to keep the hyd oil in the tractor anymore.  No matter what I do it vents into my mod and then vents out of that causing a mess all the time.  I keep my oil at the correct amount but always seem to have to add more because of all the venting.  Most importantly…there is a ton of air bubbles in the hyd oil all the time.  I can’t find a leak anywhere!

Within the past couple of weeks as I'm trying to skid trees out of the woods, I noticed I am lacking a ton of power from my 3 pt hitch.  it barely picks a log up anymore. I think the loader is lacking too and the power steering seems to lag a lot. I changed the filter and made sure my knob under the seat was set ok but the only thing I can think of is that my pump is going bad…even so…where are all the air bubbles coming from and why on earth does it vent so much???

Your air bubbles are most likley comig from a bad pump, the air/foaming makes the oil expand and come out of your vent, this is not a common problem you just have not found the source of the problem yet.You should not have any foaming in the system

Make sure you have the engine number to get the correct hydraulic pump

Having the same problems, foams for about five minutes and then stops. Did a new pump fix you up?
