My dozer finally quit today, I had been switching the ing key back and forth to get the starter going but now its just one big click and nothing.
Time to pull the starter off, has anyone bought a new starter, selinoid or had problems getting the Chinese starter rebuilt?
I also need to adj the right side brake/clutch, my dozer has two rods with turnbuclkles, which is for the clutch? My right side try to pull even with the pedel down so I think the clutch is not disengaging soon enough.

I can't help you with the brake or clutch issues as I'm a wheelie guy myself, but the starter issue s probably no more than a bad ground or some corrosion on the connections. Happens all the time. Can you jump the solenoid connections with a screwdriver and get it to start?
Check the whole starting system from the battery ground connections all the way to the key switch – if you have sufficient battery voltage, of course. I'll bet you find out it isn't a problem with the starter or solenoid, though the solenoids in Chinese equipment can get dirty and fail to function. Not too tough to take it apart and clean it, though.

Rick Im at work now and can’t check, but I did notice the selinoid just made a big click and the ampmeter went over all the way so Im guessing the starter is getting power just not turning over, or either the selinoid is drawing alot of current.

Most of these dozers used the TY395 I engine, which is the same engine used in the Jinma 354 tractors. We have all the engine parts, starters, solenoids, starter drives ,ect.

The upper rod on the bellcrank is the steering clutch, the lower rod which extends to a large lever is the brake,
Here is a pic of it. Scroll down.
And fwiw, I did the relay to solenoid electrical mod and the difference is night and day. Engine spins much faster and seems to start in 1-1/2 to 2 revolutions – if that.
