My 2006 Model 304 Jinma never did have really good brakes. Over the last few years they have gone away almost completely. My son pulled brake covers and water poured out of them. Gaskets look intact. How does water get in the brakes. Tractor is outside and not covered. Don't want to repair them and have water back in them.

Rain water has gotton in there, could be leaking thru gasket, also small rubber cups on linkage rods,Clean everything up, put new rubber boots and gasket, you should be OK

My brakes are shot from locking them on and forgetting to unlock them. Someone on here put a trouble light on the dash to warn them when the brakes were applied. Now i just drop my loader bucket when I want a parking brake! BG

Well, if you do that tilt the bucket straight down and lift the front of the tractor with the bucket.

I was one of those that put a beeper and large red light on the dash to remind me to release the parking brake. Most the time it works.
