I have a fuel leak and I want to replace all the “gaskets” on my fuel shutoff valve/sediment bowl right below the fuel tank.

        There are 3 “gaskets”.

        1.  A square cross section “o-ring” in the big nut that tightens up and seals the male fitting that screws into the fuel tank.

        2.  The most critical, a rubber disk with 4 holes that sits right behind the fuel shutoff lever/valve itself.  Here's a picture of a very similar one for a honda motorcycle:

        3.  The gasket for the bowl itself.  I could fake this one and make a new one.

I just got off the phone from the place where I bought it (Circle G) and they can't get the parts separately, I have to buy the whole assembly for 27 bucks plus shipping, etc.

Anybody got a good source??  Or even a part number might help.

        thanks in advance,

I do not know if it will work for you but I used a shut off from a 8n ford .It has a nice glass bowl and should last for years.

              OK, problem solved.

I hacked everything off the bowl assembly, except for the threaded part that goes into the tank.

I grafted on a piece of 1/4″ pipe, and screwed a 1/4″ ball valve, and carried on with the fuel line from there.

I replace the original fuel line some time ago with some clear 3/8″ vinyl so I can see what the fuel looks like, and it has a loop in it which acts like a sediment trap/fuel bowl.

              Thanks for the help.

              Finest regards,

You can purchase a straight sediment bowl assembly at NAPA or most any parts house. A loop in a vinyl hose is a very poor sediment trap, plus it does not decant water.
