Anyone know a cross reference for oil filter, something you could get at big box stores or auto parts chain?

So, do you have the metric or SAE filter head? Different filters, same part number. Talk to Ronald, he can fix you up with an adapter to switch from metric to SAE if you want to. Most good auto parts houses will stock metric and SAE equivalents. I guess you already know there is no crossover from the Chinese part number, but if you take your old filter to a good parts house they will match up the thread size, pitch and projection, seal diameter, OAD and OAL.

It’s a Farm Pro dozer with the ty 395e engine so Im sure it’s metric, autozone, advance and most parts stores
around here can’t or want help you unless it can be looked up on a PC. I will give it a try anyway.

Did you get a manual with the machine?

Is there a number on the current filter? If so, post it and we may be able to come up with something for you.

The TY395E engines came with EITHER type of filter head – metric or SAE. There is no guarantee it’s one or the other until you prove it.

Thanks, I will pull the old one off and go from there.  I did not get a manual with the dozer and have had no luck getting one from Farm Pro, even when it was still under warranty.

You can get manuals from Northern Tool.
