Never mind, I took it loose and tested it and it has power at the switch to the solenoid, but not at the solenoid. More tracing after I get home from work. Speaking of which, I normally try not to compete with my customers but since none of them do odd jobs like soda machines…

            Awesome restoration on that cooler.

If you don’t mind eBay, there is this one.

Cole-Hersee used to make a nice weathertight one but I can’t find it.

You might want to check your clutch switch. If you continue to use the Chinese sw, I would recommend that use the sw to active a relay, and that intern to engerize the solenoid. Did that with mine, no problems since.

Is I mentioned above, the switch appears to be OK.  I checked the clutch switch first, since it’s out in the weather, it was fine. Before replacing I wanted to make sure the switch was bad, so I pulled it out still wired up and tested it. There is power going to the wire for the solenoid, but no power at the solenoid. I haven’t had a chance to chase it down yet, I need to invent the 40 hour day    :mail:  I fired it up with the screwdriver, moved a large rabbit hutch I need to repair. and parked it for now. It’s moved everything I needed moved for the garden for the year :yahoo:
