Jinma 254 Clutch (yes another clutch thread)

I’ve been sitting on this issue for about a year now, figured with the summer heat coming this would be the time for it to go out of commission for a clutch replacement.

From my research, it sounds like I’m going to need a new clutch, but I’d just like some of the pros here to validate that.

I’ve adjusted the pedal to have 1″ of free play.

I’ve adjusted the finger gap (using the document that is floating around) to two different distances, ~1/8″, and ~1/16″, just to see if that made a difference, and it did not.

I start in H-L-1.  It works fine in this gear.

At 0:24, I switch to H-L-2.  Still works decent.

At 0:36, I put it in H-H-1.  Here it starts to slip.

At 1:01 I put it back in H-L-1.

At 1:10 i put it in H-L-3.  It is going, but slips here as well.

I’m attaching a photo of my clutch finger adjustment as well.

Does this seem like clutch slippage that would necessitate a new clutch?
