Hi all, I am trying to find information on how to check the proper fluid leve of the Farm pro 2425 transmission. I can find absolutely no information on this, and before I just start looking around I thought someone could offer some help on if there is a dipstick or site gauge or something. Thank you for any help.
I do not know specifically about that model tractor , but mostly from what I have seen between the seat and the shift controls over the transmission. There should be a access fill point plug some have a dipstick onto the plug . You need to find out if it is a common sump system( no 90 wt. all hydro oil) or a divided system (hydro oil for lifts, power steering and 90 wt. oil for trans.).
Thank you David, I’m sure that’s what I’ll find. I just wanted to ask instead of blindly going around and looking. I’ll try your suggestion, and yes, the filler is right where you said it would be.
