Looking at the right rear tire rim, there is a bolt head directly in the center, at or near where the outer end of the axle would be. The bolt is tight, but the keyed shaft around it, which is +- 2″ in diameter has come out about 2″. The shaft is dry and the key is relatively loose in the shaft. I found no diagram in the manual illustrating anything about this part. I would appreciate any information about this 2″ diameter round shaft and steps necessary to get it back in place. Thank You.

Upon closer inspection, after looking at the left side of the tractor, I noticed a 2″ space between the wheel rim hub and the axle housing. So what had happened was the bolts holding the halves of the rim hub to the axle on the right side had loosened enough to allow the wheel rim hub to slide 2″ inward to the axle housing. It seems that the bolts on these tractors loosen frequently, and so I generally look before each use to make sure all bolts look tight. When servicing the tractor, I manually check them for tightness, as these bolts have loosened before. In any case I have replaced the 4 bolts on the right side with 4 – 9/16″ grade 8 bolts and locking nuts and have purchased 4 additional bolts for the left side. The manual states to check bolts on a regular basis for tightness. I can see why. It has been a great tractor, except for the quality of the bolts and lock washers. In any case, I lucked out this time and hope this information is useful to some other Jinma owner.
