Have a Foton 704 tractor. When I turn the steering wheel to turn left I have to keep Turin the steering wheel to the left to keep the wheel I. The left direction. If I stop turning the steering wheel the front wheels begin to straighten out on their own. Same happens when turning right, but not quite so bad. There is basically 3 components to the steering setup plus the fluid reservoir. At the base of the steering column we have steering and valve assembly. The pump located on the left side of motor near the filters and the steering g cylinder assembly located on the front drive axle.
The fact that I can Fully turn the wheels left and right seems to indicate to me that the front drive axle cylinder assembly and the pump is probably OK so I’m leaning towards the steering valve at the base of the steering wheel column.
Any thoughts???

It sounds like you are on the right track.
Just to be clear, the wheels going straight happens while driving, right?
One test for the cylinder on the axle is to remove the hoses and plug off the ends, making sure to keep as much oil in the cylinder as possible. Then jack both wheels off of the ground and see if you can make the wheels turn from side to side using hand pressure on the tires. If they easily turn it might indicate an internal leak in the cylinder.
If they turn but spring back, it is probably just air in the cylinder.

Straight is no problem. When I turn left or right while moving the wheel straighten out if I don’t keep constant turning of the steering wheel

I am kinda leaning at the steering cylinder as when the steering wheel turning is sending fluid to the cylinder it goes where you want it to go, when the fluid is stopped being sent it stops steering. so That is what makes me think the cylinder is bypassing. Of course I easily could be wrong. The cylinder would be also the much easier fix to do lets hope that is the problem. keep us informed as to what you find as I have a foton 504a so info. is always good to know.
