Was going to start 4 wheel repair. Lift the tractor with loader and put stands under tractor to block up. Bucket would not lift front wheels more than a few inches. When raised to top of range bucket will slowly lower on its own over 2 days. Did not test if the bucket can pick up a load. There are no leaks and plenty of fluid. 3 point seems to work ok but did not test to see if it will hold something raised or slowly lower like bucket does.
Any ideas on how to proceed

You didn’t specify which tractor and loader you have so this will be rather generic.
Most front end loaders will only go below level (dig) a couple of inches. If you raise the bucket and then roll it all the way inverted (dump) so that the opening is pointing towards the ground you may gain an inch or two when picking up the front of the tractor. Many FELs are designed this way so the bucket acts as a stabilizer when using the backhoe attachment. Not all of them have this feature.
Since your loader will pick up the tractor, it sounds like it has plenty of power so it will probably pick up a load just fine. Keep in mind that tractor loaders are generally not as tough as real front end loader machines. Stay within the operating limits and be gentle and they will last a long time. Abuse one and bad things happen fast.
Most all hydraulic systems have some internal leakage. This is where the practice of “ground your equipment” came from. That means to always lower all implements to the ground before shutting the tractor off, unless you are actively using it in a raised position. Two days to settle back to the ground is actually pretty good for a tractor loader.
Most tractor 3 point control valves have no effect on the loader control valves so leak down of one will not affect the other.
If you need to raise the front end more than the normal travel of the FEL will allow, build up some dunage under where the bucket will contact the ground so that it will start lifting sooner as the bucket goes downward.

it could be the control block but most likely it is a cylinder that is internally bypassing so it is not building the same pressures you had ,I got one on the slew on my backhoe now doing this, so off it comes and goes to the shop.

Every three years I had to rebuild mine with a $25 each per kit.
I have now replaced them with Lion Cylinders from Hydraulic Surplus Center.

I am going to consolidate my 3 problems here. Had a good work day with the tractor the other day. 4 wheel held up. Gauges held up. Was able to load firewood logs on bucket and top of box blade and they remained in the up position. I still think my current on going problem is hydraulic and located in a more central location affecting multiple functions. Bucket cannot lift front wheels like before, bucket and 3 point ( with box blade) sink over time. Problem noticed when working is also including steering. Wheel seems “loose” and often seems to hit a wall when turning and takes some effort to overcome it and continue the turn. Fluid level fine, filter fairly new. Thoughts please.
