I have a 2000 agracat model 9240 super….Needed some direction…have Leakdown problem with hitch…implements would go to ground fairly rapidly after you raise it up….I can “hold” it up by turning the pressure relief valve down but then I lose the ability to control it with the lever (lowering)……I took the control valve apart and found no o rings around the control piston…..my question is….are there supposed to be and does anyone have an illustration….even hand sketched…..showing placement of o rings on the piston and or “scrapers”…..I did find a little piece of debris behind the spring loaded section of the retained washer…it was cocked a little….could this have caused the Leakdown?…..different question……does the pto shaft ever stop spinning?…wanted to know if it was supposed to stop with depressing of the clutch and if you can ever disengage it totally? Please help…thank you….Erik

Eric, not sure what hp tractor that is but most of the time when your lift drifts down it is the o-ring torn on the piston in the hydraulic tank. As for the PTO spinning, most of them do free spin but you should be able to stop it with your hand if PTO is set up correctly. Give us a call at 662-252-5272 and maybe we can help you out.

Do not try to stop with your hand – use 2×4,etc.

True use a piece of wood.I have seen a few PTOs that just would not stop turning after they were disengaged but 90 % of them the PTO clutch needed to be adjusted
