        Hello All,

My 2002 Jinma 254's 3 pt hitch is not holding. It does not seem to be leaking. It worked OK this winter with my small blade. Recently I put on my landscape rake which is a bit heavier, and it would not keep it up. It has always dropped very slowly, but now it is dropping way to fast. It is not the pressure adjustment. I tried that.

I have not pulled the seat and pulled it apart yet. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your 3-point lift may need to be rebuilt, not hard to do and we have the kits in stock

            Thanks Tommy,

I went to the parts page and see the lift repair kit. I presume this is what you are referencing, right?

Did I blow the this out trying to lift something too heavy?

Do I have to drain the hydraulic fluid completely before tearing this down? Being under the seat, I thought I might get away with not doing that?

Also, I have a Jinma BH that is just rusting sitting in the garage. The thing just never worked well, and I replaced the O-Rings on it twice, but they continued to fail. Any interest in it for parts?

Can you recommend a better BH to replace it?

            Thanks

LiTW, Tomcat, Woods, Bradco, just to name a few. I replaced mine with a LiTW a couple of years ago and am very happy with it. The newer units will have a curved boom like excavators. Also, it may be that your relief valve is set too high if you keep blowing O-rings.
