  Where is the best supplier for a crank type lift arm and top link for a Jinma 454 the ones I have found so far have the wrong ends on the top of the lift arm

  Adjustable lift arms are readily available. Try Affordable Tractor and Circle-G Tractor. Also Keno Tractor in Keno, OR. How about a picture of your special “end”.
  Category 1 and 2 top links are available in a variety of lengths and end configurations. Very plentiful.

  Ok, what I’m seeing is a top link in the left pic, and a simple turnbuckle with yoke ends in the right pic. I don’t see any gearbox at all. I have never heard of a top link or lift link with a gearbox. Got a pic of that?
  There are, however, hydraulic top and lift links.

  my problem is all I have found so far are ones like in picture clevis bottom end and ball or pin top, mine has the clevis on both ends guess I’ll have get the closet I can find and make an adapter

  Incidentally, the adjustable link in your picture is set up to be a top link due to the double axis joint at the base. That part fits onto the rear of the tractor above the PTO.
  I believe this is what you are trying to accomplish.

  In the first picture the link on the left is my top link the one on right is the link arm that is the main one I want to replace with the type in the second picture I know they make them for the link arms I just can’t seem to find one that will work on my Jinma 454. That’s why I guess the easiest option is to take mine to tractor supply and match it as close as I can then make up adapters to make it fit. would like to eventually install a hydraulic top and tilt as my tractor is big enough I can’t reach the links while on it so I have to get off and on and I have had both knees replaced one works pretty good the other not so much and it’s a little over 2 ft to the deck of my tractor quite a step up for bunky knees. In the process of adding a step just need to make a bracket.

  Hey man, sorry to hear about your knees. I have a friend that’s had both replaced and he’s doing pretty good, and still doing construction work. Mine are still ok (knock on wood).
  Yes, you need a link with a clevis on both ends. You also have the option of going with a heavy duty linear actuator with clevis ends. some of these are good for 5,000 lbs. static load, and can push/pull up to 2,500 lbs. You could operate them with a toggle switch next to your seat. Something to consider anyway.

  I thinking I may just wait till later and go with the top and tilt. On the knees my right is the one I had done first all went great then the next year had the left one done which my Dr said was worse then the right when he went to do it and he commented when he was looking at my xrays for that one it was the worse knee he had seen. when they did the left all went well but I got staph infection in it so they had to completely redo it which made for lots of scar tissue so its just starting to really get where I can use it and surgery was June of 2015 but I keep on doing everything I did pretty much just a lot slower.

  Nice looking rig. I know you’ll be happy with the top ‘n tilt. Hope the knee gets better quickly.
  While you’re at it, you might want to consider a quick hitch too. Really saves time and frustration.
