        i removed the creeper case. The out put shaft from the tranny has a pilot shaft ?

        its worn on the end. Is it just a guide, or should it be replaced.

            Depending on the wear you can go to a bearing dealer and get a sleeve to replace your worn material.If you know a machinist they could build you a bushing to fix it also.
