Hey.
Im new to the Jinma Tractors. I have a 2006 284. The back how has very little pressure. Has anyone replaced the hydraulic pump with a larger GPM.
Thank you.

I assume that you have checked the quick connects and any related filters and joystick control valves

All the pumps are about the same pressure, so I assume you’re talking about the gpm flow rate. The stock pumps are 7 gpm and 2,300 psig if I recall. I had absolutely no problem operating my LW-06 back how with that pump.
So to answer your question , yes. BUT it depends on the distance between the end of your existing pump to the starter. The bigger pump is longer so you may not be able to install it.
I would consider David’s suggestions first.

David, Bob.
Thank you for the response.
I haven’t checked the joystick controls

Where does the backhoe get the pressurized hydraulic fluid to operate?
(does the backhoe have a self-contained hydraulic tank or does it get the hydraulic fluid from the tractor?) If from the tractor, where does it come from?

Some of the backhoes are completely self contained, meaning they have their own oil reservoir and have their own PTO mounted pump. This type of backhoe is usually mounted on the three point hitch.
Another type of backhoe utilizes the tractor’s hydraulic system, is usually frame mounted to the tractor, and connected hydraulically through quick-connect couplings.

Robert,
What is the model number on the backhoe (JW=03, Lw-06, ?)
The first thing that I would do is to install a hydraulic pressure gauge on the backhoe to see what pressure is being produced by the PTO pump.

Robert,
It appears that this site has gone backwards and no longer offers the capability of sending other members a Private Message. That is unfortunate since this was one of my favorite sites for communicating with other tractor owners after the members of the CTW (Chinese Tractor World) site stopped postings due to discontinued interest of the site owners. It appears that it leaves only the TBN (TractorByNet) site that offers a full range of Internet tools for Chinese tractor owners.
I have no interest in using any of the Social Networks since they all seem to have lousy protection of their Users information.
(end of soapbox)
I no longer own the JW03 backhoe. I exchanged it for an Ansung backhoe because I needed more precise control of the bucket movements. But I did make up a CD for the new owner that contains information that I collected over the years on the JW03. If you are interested, I can mail it to you.
I have set up a temporary Email address (shar_rons2000@yahoo.com). If you send me your Email address and mailing address, I will send you the CD.
