I have a 2007 Agracat 3720 Magnum or the equivalent of a Jinma 304. diesel (3Cyl), model TY3951T which I think is a Yangdong Y395. The tractor has a FEL, and TPH, with 2 spd PTO.
When I step on the brakes the right brakes locks up and stays that way. The tractor won't move unless I put it into 4 wd Lo and just drag the right tire. If I step on the left pedal and give it some throttle I hear a pop sound and the right brake releases until I step on it again. The left pedal goes all the way down with no resistance and stays down. The right pedal has great positive pressure and works good but hangs or binds up to lock the wheel. Are the round housings under the seat where the brakes are located? Do I have a broken return spring? Why does the left go all the way down and stay there? Any help is much appreciated.

Will do, I guess I will have to take it apart to find out what is wrong. I was just hoping I could get an idea of what to look for that could be wrong.
Thanks

the shaft that the brake pedals connect to has a grease fitting and there should be return springs to bring the pedals up on most. does your have dry or wet brakes?

David,
I do not know if they are dry or wet brakes. By looking at pictures of equivalent tractors I think they are dry brakes. I haven't looked at it in detail yet so I do not know if there is a spring missing or not. There is definitely a return spring on the right side pedal. When pressing on the left pedal there does not appear to be any brake contact. I can try to adjust and see if I can make it make contact when the pedal is depressed. Basically now though the left pedal just goes all the way down with no effort and just stays there until I pull it up.
Ron,
I have only owned the tractor a couple of months, I have no idea when the brakes were adjusted last. The right pedal feels good though. Just sitting on the seat and pumping the pedal I can hear the brake making contact, and the pedal comes back up. Only problem is when the the tractor is rolling the brake won't release after you step on the pedal, but the pedal does come back up.
I need to make room in my garage so I can dismantle and inspect more closely. Looking at the pictures from Ranch Hand I have a good idea of what is in there now.

be careful with the wheel weights and the same if the tires are filled with fluid they are damn heavy.
