Just removed my Front End Loader on my Jinma Farmpro 254 for clutch adjustment.
Lot of problems removing FEL. I left the bucket in a half  dump position instead of perfectly flat on the ground.
That bucket tilt would not allow the rear supports once unpinned to  tilt high enough to clear my front wheels. Because I had unhooked the hydraulics and moved the tractor Reconnecting the hoses to correct the problem was not done. . Lots of rigging and come-a-long work finally prevailed.

My clutch fingers were about 4mm from the throw-out bearing after six years of use.
I adjusted the fingers to 2.5mm which gave me the prescribed 1 inch of clutch pedal free play.

My PTO tolerances were tight so I readjusted to 1.5mm. With engine running there was light grinding until engagement.

Anybody have any comments. ?Someone posted that clutch finger gap closes/gets smaller as clutches wear.

I may experiment with increasing my FEL stands height by welding extensions on to get it high enough to clear front wheels.
        Any comments on that idea?

I’ve only had the FEL off a couple of times and that was many years ago. I don’t remember but the bucket is either supposed to be flat on the ground or completely upside down. I think flat is correct.

In any case, you leave the hydraulics connected and use the FEL to help get it released from the mount. You unpin the cross bar at the battery box and pull the pins at the main brackets after you set it down on stands. Using the hydraulics gets a bit awkward as the movements are reversed. Also it has to be finessed into place and the OEM control is lacking in that regard.

Once it is free of the brackets you can shut down and pull the quick couplings apart.

Getting it off is easier than getting it on, but it is just the reverse order of operations.

On a side note, the last time I work ed on the clutch, I didn’t want to mess with the FEL so I rigged up some blocks and jacks to take the weight of the left side and simply removed the mounting bracket for access. That too was awkward, but it was much less work in the end.

Clutch work on these things is kind of like doing taxes. A royal PITA, and easily put off until it MUST be done. 🙁

Thanks for the response. My forward mounts are 4 bolts on each side.
I will analyze my next FEL removal and make modifications if necessary.
