My 2004 Dong Feng has low oil pressure after warming up with occasional spikes on the gage. I am thinking oil pump relief valve. Any ideas would be welcome.
        Thanks

if you are using a electrical gauge put in a temporary  mechanical one to verify your readings . What are your readings?  I have a 2005 dong feng 204a and when at operating temps at a idle it runs around 22 lbs. Running at speed I do see some small surges in pressure which is over the 60 psi it runs at . I replaced the original metric gauge with sae.

Thanks for the tip. I should have mentioned that I had installed a mechanical gage to see what the actual oil pressure was. When cold I have 40 psig and as it warms up it drops to 10 with spikes up to 35. I have owned the tractor since it was new and this problem showed up late last summer, basically over night. I will check the oil filter mount for a relief valve and see it the spring or ball is bad. Otherwise I am probably going to have to check the oil pump out.

I have 2 Chinese tractors and they both have on the oil filter housing and pressure relief adjuster screw. I have not fooled with mine but I guess it could be a problem. I think it is there to keep the oil pressure from getting to high ( I suppose from a cold weather  start the pressure being to high and splitting the oil filter or a plugged up filter bypass maybe) maybe someone else will chime in and give you a better answer. But I wonder maybe it is the oil pump pick up tube being cracked then sucking air , I guess it is possible. good luck
