Does any one have any estimated idea how many hours it takes to split a 2002 Jinma 284, Y385, replace the clutch and be done? Would you also let me know if I should expect any surprises or be prepared for other issues?  I have a mechanic to do the job, but I’d like to set a limit…

I just bought this tractor in Feb and had no idea the clutch was shot… I have total loss of power, it doesnt appear to be engaging. Supposedly this tractor only has 94 hours on it but I’m questioning that now that I’ve been running it …. Thank you kindly!   😉

It usually takes about 10-12 hours for us to do a full clutch job in our shop.

Keep in mind, this is with all the right tools, and a very experienced mechanic.  It is a pretty simple job though, I have personally done quite a few.

Do you already have the clutch kit?  I have them in stock!  Comes with rear main seal, front main on transmission, all the bearings you need, clutch alignment tool.  And if you have any questions when doing the job, we can help you out.   We are the only ones who have a full service department for these tractors! :yahoo:
