        Hi

I have a Jinma 354 with the TY395 non-epa engine in it. I ordered a new block and head from one of the listed dealers and when my mechanic tried to put the existing exhaust manifold the holes didn't quite match up. They are off by about 3/16th of an inch. I am at a loss for what to do. It seems to me that the old exhaust manifold would bolt right up to the block. All the other old parts from the original engine that was in the tractor worked but the exhaust manifold didn't. Shouldn't the blocks be poured from the same mold so that you get the exact specs to bolt old parts onto the new block? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

There are 3- different TY395 Engines, TY395I, TY395E-3, TY395 E-1,the parts are not all the same. You need to confirm Which engine you have first,I would also check the old Head gasket vs the new one very close, there is a difference. This same problem comes up with this engine SL3105 BT, and the SL3105 ABT both use some of the same parts but not all

You might have got a EPA head and a Non EPA block,or if your mechanic is confident the head is the correct one, get the parts supplier to send you a  exhaust manifold

It's not just the Chinese either. My PT Cruiser has two dead cylinders, burnt valves it appears. I'm thinking, there's a zillion Neons out there with the same engine, wrongyell. After a little research it seems Chrysler made at least seven variants of the 2.0-2.4 block and even more different heads. I'll pull it apart and if things are worse than I think I'll look at auctions for a newer PT turbo wrecked anywhere but the front and swap out the subframe complete with running gear and computer and gain 100hp.laugh
