This is what I get for taking my daughter shopping for school clothes. It's been in the ninties for weeks now with lows at night in the high fifties to low sixties. Then this morning hits like a ton of bricks, 33 yell.

I guess I'll be busy in the garden this weekend getting things out and put up for the year. Time to get some wood cutting permits.

Tin, same here.  There is a freeze warning tonight. Supposed to get down to 28 degrees.  I am trying to get the body work done on my 1954 International Pickup so I can get it painted before the real cold weather hits.  I think I have to hurry. frown

Any word yet on when the Washington monsoon season starts” I have a 250' electrical trench to dig and have inspected. Seems that just when my body adapts to the mild & dry temperatures, stops squeaking, and I'm really getting things done, the weather goes South.

I was planning on rebuilding the sun porch, until my wife brought home a horse. I've spent a month building a fenced off corral with one leg in a braceyell. At least that's done and I can start framing out the new permanent windows from the inside, and one good day is all it will take to remove the old reverse batten board T-111, put up the new and install the windows. I hope.holeagain

Bob, the other day I read the national weather service prediction for fall/winter. They say there is going to be a split jet stream. Most of the moisture we normally get in fall and winter will be south of us. Their prediction covers all of WA, northern OR, northern, ID, and north western MT. For fall/winter they say that our temps will be above average and precipitation will be below average. I guess we have to wait and see if they are right.

There is one thing I have noticed about weather people; they get paid if they are right, and they still get paid if they are wrong. argue

I hope they are right on that prediction. laugh
