I have a Foton 354 with the 4 cylinder 35 hp engine. I was wandering if anyone has ever changed the fuel injector pump oil? If so how? Thanks!!

first you need to determine if the pump is not feed from the engine , my foton 504 gets oil from the engine. there are oil lines that come from the rear of the oil filter housing going to the pump.

Thanks, There is what I think is a fuel line coming from the gas tank and another fuel line that runs from the pump to the fuel filter and back to the pump. There is another line that looks like the fuel lines but a little smaller in diameter running from the fuel pump to the block of the engine… leads me to believe the engine oil lubrecates the pump and would only get changed with the engine oil… does this sound right???
Thanks!

Need a picture to verify this, but the soft DIESEL (not gas) fuel lines are on the top portion of the fuel injection pump, one at the rear out side and one at the front end. What are the others you are referring to?

Hello, I posted a few pictures of the fuel pump in the photo album of my FOTON 354 injector pump. if you take a look at the pictures you can see the fuel line in, low pressure out and the two fuel lines on either side of the fuel filter. Then sort of in the back you can see another line that looks like the fuel lines just a bit smaller the goes back to the block… can anyone tell me if I need to change the pump oil??? or is it fed by the engine oil?
Thanks!

I see the pics you posted but I can't open them. This site is terrible for that. Can you post them in the thread?
