Can someone help me identify the alternator terminals on a Foton 404. Also the Fuse block layout is a mystery. There is no label on the fuse panel door to identify the fuses and relays. The tractor is not charging. Also is there an ohm test procedure for the regulator?…

I have a 2006 foton ft504a , I think it is a series 40 tractor . I will look at the fuse door to see if the label is still there.  Have you checked to see if there is 12 volts to the alt? key on.

The voltage regulators are solid state. No ohm tests. Do you have a red LED on it that lights up when you turn the key on? Check to see if you have any blown fuses, also check to see if all your electrical connections are clean and tight.

Sorry this took this long but I looked at the fuse panel decal and it only shows the fuse amp rating not what they control . I only have a parts book no operators manual, I would assume that would cover what fuses control what from listed fuse positions. sorry

I had a very similar problem on my Foron 704 I thought it was a regulator I thought it was wiring I thought it was a fuse and it turned out to be the gauge on the dash panel as the alternator idiot light lightbulb is what you use to complete the circuit for charging the tractors battery. you may find some information In one of my old posts that talks about this. Or do a search on the web on charging system troubleshooting. Hope this helps
