I have a small leak of fuel from the fitting on injector pump holding steel line going to the engine. Seems to be from the lower part/nut of the fitting. My concern is bleeding the system after taking it apart. I do have the primer pump. I dont want to be out of a tractor with alot of mowing to do.
Thanks

Did you try to Tighten it up ? If you have to break it loose to repair it , just pump the primer a few times and you should be ready to go again

it is not the line, but coming from the fitting on the injector pump. what type are these, compression or flare?

If it's coming from the “fitting on the injector pump”, that's the barrel and plunger assembly for that particular cylinder and they are not sold seperatley, and I seriously doubt that's the case. The hard lines are special schedule 120 tubing and use special ferrules and nuts, and they are all the same length. They are available through dealers and you must specify for which cylinder. Unless you are experienced in this work don't attempt a repair, just purchase with a new line. You are dealing with pressures over 2,000 psig which can easily puncture your skin and cause blood poisoning. Be safe.

thanks i looked at some parts pictures and i see what you are saying. prob is coming from the fitting on the line which attaches to the barrel plunger assembly. i will order a new line for num one cylinder. still a bit nervous about bleeding air and having problems getting it running again.
thanks

If you are only doing one cylinder bleeding should not be a big issue the others should keep primed and start, it will run ruff for alittle and smooth out.leave the fitting slightly loose at the injector the air will push out.
