Need to change out the gear oil on my 2013 Jinma 254.  Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation as to what brand is their oil of choice?  And if one thinks Amsoil would be worth the added expense ???  Thanks to all !!!!!

I most likely will get slammed for this but I use whatever I can find brand wise as long as it meets all the weight and additive requirements ,there is so much out there it seems to me that just finding the correct oil is the most important thing.my 2 cents.

I have been selling and using Amsoil since 1978.  I have never used it in a Chinese tractor.  The reason is that synthetic oils require good quality seals or the stuff will leak past the seals.  To date I have not seen many Chinese seals that I felt were great quality.  That's my $0.02

I'm with Larry and David. I don't believe there is any significant advantage to using Amsoil products in this application, or any synthetics either for that matter. And don't get talked into using UTF or THF in lieu of gear oil. So long as the gear oil you select has an AGMA rating, you'll be fine.

Thanks Larry, David & Bob for your sound advise.  Will follow through with it.
