Just wanted to say hi! I've been off line for quite a while, and kept busy taking care of my wife-she has had severe back problems and is just now seeming to respond to surgery-getting better.
I haven't kept up with the forums, so have a lot of reading to do. The mighty 2005 Jinma decided to stop working today, so will have to do a little troubleshooting and see what is wrong. Appears to be a starter problem, so hopefully will be easy to fix/replace the part….we will see!
Still see a lot of familiar names on the directory. Our computer crashed in October, lost everything on it, including many of our members e mail. Bought a lap top for my wife, and are slowly getting the reference bank back together.
Will read some of the posts and get back into tractor stuff!!

Hi Bob, sorry to hear about your wife's problem and hope she gets better. Glad to see your back on the site.
Bob, I suggest you buy an external hard drive and back you your files every month. Go to system tools and select Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. It will copy all your files and settings but not your programs.
I had the same thing happen and I keep it backed up now. In fact I need to do it this weekend.

Yep, backups are important and easy to overlook. Especially pictures that seems everyone just downloads them from digital cameras to computers. If the drive crashes, you could loose not only data files but all those wonderful pictures and videos you taken.
Portable hard drives these days are very affordable and easy to use. I have one that plugs into our wireless router so all family members can easily backup files to one central place! ( I still don't trust cloud computing fully…to easy for government to get hold of) 🙂
