On a Jinma 284, what's a safe max lifting weight for the three point?

Put another way, if a three point can lift a backhoe, how much do they weigh?

This is why I asked, I want to be able to lift one end or the other with the box blade an inch or three and steer it where I want it.

Cool.
Is that a hunting blind? I don't think you will have a problem moving it in a straight line but how about turning corners without a swivel type hitch?

I would think about a tow bar harbor freight had them I think less than 75 bucks but you would have to go slow ,wheel dia. looks a little small for ruff ground,is was that a chicken tractor/coop ?

I think it was a chicken coop turned aviary, It'll be a chicken coop again. A customer bought a place literally out in the middle of nowhere and had no use for this. He loaded it on the trailer with a 6 wheel forklift, it had around 200lbs. of concrete on each post with 4″ nails imbedded in the posts
. After getting that out of the way (it wouldn't clear the fenders if I could move it) I leveled the posts and drilled 5/8 holes for axles and used threaded rod and $4.00 Harbor Freight wheels.
It's going across 300' of fairly level ground and I figured if I put the three point under one end and lifted it up just off the ground I could tow it with the tractor just like a tow truck.

You should be fine, but no sharp turns.

Try a 20ft container for size. 600 metres up a rough bush track then through a gully. Handled alright until the trailer wheel got stuck behind a big rock coming up the other side…
. Bent the 1/2 inch tow tongue.

Nice job
Is that container sitting on a trailer or is it the trailer?

That's the trailer. Welded two lengths of 4×2″ box for it to sit on then dogged it down tight. For delivery just chained it to a tree and drove away. Put a high lift jack to hold the front end when it was ready to fall off the trailer. Containers are not as heavy as they look. By the way Bob, I finally dug out those videos. Now I just need to work out how to post them. Will start a new thread.

Just an update. I've finally gotten somewhere on the coop project which is good since I have some tenants waiting to move in
I hope to have this project and their run finished this week.

Nice design with the laying box accessable from the outside. I should make something like that for my mother. Her flock keeps losing members to predation from dingos, hawks and pythons. Lately a big goanna is sneaking into the coop around lunch time and helping himself to the eggs. Such is life for a free range chicken.
