How do I get the rear hydraulics to work. I see that Ranch Hand has a kit but I already have the valve and all the lines for front grappler.
Is there an internal modification that has to be done or a plug installed?
Getting ready for spring clean up and Im going to need grappler.
I hate to have to buy a kit when I already have hardware in place.
Any help would be great.
Tractor is 2007 Jinma 284 new style hydraulics.
Thank You,
Mike

If your FEL control valve has a Power Beyond Port you simply plumb your supply to the grapple off of that, as I understand it. Your valve would have to have both the Power Beyond capability and have the Power Beyond adapter installed in the port. Without a power beyond port you'd need to get your hydraulic supply elsewhere.

I want to use the rear hydraulics with quick connects. The three point hitch is some how tied to the rear hydraulics but I don't understand how.
I can't see what could be changed to make the rear hydraulics to work independent of three point hydraulics.

As I understand it, to make the rear remotes function you have to close the drop control valve under the front of the seat. The TPH then stays up and the remotes are active. That may not be what you want so you'd have to either go with the Power Beyond or tee into the line returning to the sump from the FEL valve or somewhere else.
Hopefully, someone else will have a better solution.

I added two rear and two front remotes to my Jinma 284 and will gladly send you the schematic as well as low cost source links for DIY hoses, valves, etc. I was able to do this with a lot of help from 3RRL.

Steve,
I'd be interested in the schematic, etc – but I no longer know how to PM you since this site has changed.

Ron, you have to request him to be a friend, once he's one of your friends you can click on his avatar and PM him. Only problem, I can't for the life of me remember how to do that.

Steve,
I'm interested as well, can you post it in here.

A diagram would be great. I have valves and hoses thinking that rear hydraulics would just work. Ran hoses to valve and cylinder then tried to use but would not work.
Did a lot of clearing brush after spring storms and could have saved a lot of time using grappler.
Thanks
Mike

Tin,
Are you really telling me that in order to send a simple PM to another member on this 'new' site, it is necessary to go through the “social network” garbage?

Ron, I'm afraid so. I don't do facebook or any other social network so I don't know anything about how they work
Steve, mind if I bother you for a copy?

I hope this helps everyone and maybe someone can post the schematic? I have a 30 year hydraulics background but could not have added the front and rear remotes and made up all the hoses without the help of 3RRL on TractorByNet.
I use the rear remotes to plug in my logsplitter and I use the front remotes to angle my loader mounted snowplow.
Making your own hoses is so simple and after adding all the Prince stacking valves and Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) I've had no leaks at all. I keep extra hose and fittings on hand for repairs. If I can do this, anyone can do it.
All of this is especially useful for logsplitters, grapples, etc. Now that I just bought, factory direct from China, a backhoe, I will make up some “legs” for the logsplitter so that I can lug it to the splitting area, plug it in, and heat my house for free this winter.

Small Jobs
Looking at the date on this thread it has been some time since it originally ran but if it isn't too much trouble I'd be interested in seeing the information you have. Could you send it to joe.kane@Bruker.com
Thanks in advance

Joe, I'm in China now and sent the email pkg a couple of times but the outgoing email times out. If you don't get it, I'll resend when I'm back home in a few days.
If you get 5 copies of the same email….

SmallJobs, as others have said this thread has been around for a while, but if you still have your parts list and blue print to adding to the hydraulic system I would very much appreciate a copy sent to me also.
mmolnar@new.rr.com Thanks in advance
