Yes, it's slow for me to and I'm on fast DSL. I posted to Hal in the Activity section and emailed him and nothing has changed. What I do is click on this site then open another tab and go to another site and after a while come back here and the page has loaded. I click on a forum thread and go to the other tab and read the other site and after several minutes COTA will load.
I just keep doing that but I only have to do that for this site. All the other sites I go to load in seconds.

My plan exactly Carl.

The company that hosts this site open states that they host about 6000 sites per server. That's in insane number. It's cheap but you get what you pay for. It's the main reason I seldom post here anymore. Got other things to do and waiting on a slow website is not on my priority list.

So, I guess there's no way for Hal to make it faster on the same server and we have what we have. Well, the site has a one time fee so we are what we are.
EDIT: it seems to be running faster today so I guess something has changed.

It could be worse. We could all be like a friend of mine, still on his $4.95 Juno account. He comes over here if someone sends him a picture.

I had a Juno account. In 1995!
Didn't know they are still around.

Hey GUYS! I am aware and working with the hosting provider to figure out what is the issue. Sorry for the problem, it dives me crazy too!
Last week they thought they located the issue on the server but obviously..it is back to being slow again.

Thanks for the update, Hal! I hope they get it corrected soon, as it is very annoying.

It's ridiculously slow this morning. Pathetic.

Agreed. To get from the sign in page, to the wall, to forums, to this forum took 4 minutes 50 seconds, unacceptable to say the least. Slower than dial up. Spring Valley's right, it's slow in the daytime and faster at night, way too many sites on one server. I'd ask for this months payment back and find another host company, this is just too painful.

The hosting company had tech working on the server issue today, and at the time of this post speed was back to normal. Lets keep an eye on it and please let me know if you see it improved or not.
You guys rock!

Today it seems pretty much okay to me, Hal. And I'm at the back of beyond as far as internet connections go.

Still keeping an eye on the site load time, seems to be back to NORMAL for now. Did not see any server cpu throttle issues as was believed to be the culprit, but then again, not sure if they would ever confirm that over at the hosting company!

Hal,
Last night, for some reason, I couldn't get CTOA to load up at all. Today it is fine. Just thought I'd let you know for your records.
