I have been trying to fix a problem with the FEL on my 2006 Jinma 284…at first the loader suddenly stopped working, the power steering still worked, and the TPH still lifted…but the loader was dead??? I found that when I took the TPH to full lift the additional pressure would help to lift the loader enough to get it back to my shed. I studied up on the pressure relief valve etc, and everything else I could find on here.
I took the pressure relief valve apart and cleaned, I pulled both FEL plungers out and made sure they were clean, I changed the hydraulic oil filter, I checked for loose fittings, and topped up the oil in the sump…and now the FEL works but there is a delay in it cycling…what have I missed?? I am stumped for the moment…any suggestions on a fix????
Update: After seeing that nobody could offer any suggestions I went back for another try at getting the loader working properly. My first thought was air was somehow getting into the suction line of the hydraulic system, couldn't find any source of air??….my solution was to pull the pressure relief valve again and clean it better. One of the very tiny holes [orfices?] in one of the parts had some sort of dark plastic type debris that came out..after a re-assemble the tractor loader was functioning properly.

I am having the same problem. Do you have any pictures of what you did to resolve your problem? I do not have a good diagram of the FEL control valve, and I am not hydraulics educated.
You help is appreciated

Canuckshooter: When you describe the relief valve are you talking about the bypass valve located in the main control valve for the FEL, or are you referring to the proportioning valve that gives priority to the steering function?

Update…Ronald at Ranchhand fixed me up. I installed the new FEL valve, disconnects, and hydro filter and I am working better than ever. It was not hard to install and the instructions were great.
Anyone interested in the old valve and hoses?
Thanks Ronald
