JinMa 284 Hydrolic drain.

Well, I presume yours is year 2002. Mine is 2007, but I believe that was (another) period of redesign for Jinma, and your model may be significantly different.
On mine, there is no “drain” in the conventional sense. Mine has piping to provide hydraulic pressure to the rear of the tractor. If you have that, then what I have done is to open the right-hand side pipe and simply run the tractor for a bit and pump the dirty oil out that pipe.
If you don’t have the rear hydraulics you could just open the pump suction line at the filter (next to the engine, not the screen that was sometimes inside the reservoir) and let gravity drain out the old oil.
But you talk about water in the oil… that’s a concern. Do you understand how the water got into the oil? And can you stop it? You should be checking your oil level fairly regularly (monthly?), and the water should have shown up then. If there is water in your oil I would take the time to flush the entire system, including FEL up/down several times. A hydraulic pump is not cheap. And be sure to use the correct oil; not the “Universal fluid” used by some, but real Hydraulic oil. Buy a couple of gallons, it is cheap compared to other problems.

My 284 was built 10/2006 and it had a drain plug for the hydraulics. It is located in the bottom left side of the 3 point top link bracket. This bracket is bolted to the tank and has a gasket to seal it.

I removed the bracket and drilled and tapped a hole to allow me to install a tank heater for the oil. If you your bracket does not have this drain plug, it would be easy enough to install one by drilling and tapping the cast iron bracket.

You can always use a suck gun through the filler hole to get most of the fluid out of the tank.

What leads you to believe there is water in the fluid?

I think that total capacity is only a couple of gallons. If you suck out all you can then refill with fresh you can run it a few hours and do it again and that should get most all of the contaminates out. Don’t forget to clean the pickup screen that is in the tank, or replace the filter if your tractor has that option.

I do not have a jinma, but both of my other china tractors (dong feng and foton) have filter screen housing under the floor boards remember to open up those if your has one, I would think that they will be the lowest point for the hydro system so fluid should drain well from there. then again if your has one. If I remember right the jinma uses a common sump for trans. ,  power steering and hydros?
