I was able to replace all 3 clutch fingers thru the side opening using long nose pliers to remove and replace the cotter pins from the pivot pins. Adjusted them all to the .100 clearance gap but now when I step on the clutch it squeals some. Should I have lubricated the ends of the fingers where they touch the bearing plate?

One article said he adjusted the clutch to a 10mm gap.  Isn’t that a lot bigger than the nominal .1″ gap that other forums mention?

yes a tenth of a inch is  about 3 times smaller than 10mm,  it might have been a typo. error
