First, are toplinks for Jinma Tractors metric? The previous owner told me so. Second, where can I purchase one and roughly how much will a toplink and pins cost me for my Jinma. Thanks Ken

You can get a top link at any Ag-store that will fit your tractor, or we have them also.

Typically you'll find 2 or more sizes of toplink available at ag stores as Tommy mentioned. Most all are adjustable for length so the standard sized one at about 24 inches long is what you'll probably want. The pins will be about 6-7 inches long, and will fit the pin opening of the toplink you buy. Pick up at least 2 of the pins. More will be good and the “extras” can be stored in the toolbox for use when needed.

I bought 3-4 of them from Harbor Freight:

I find it much handier to leave them on the implement once I get the length adjusted just right. The HF ones have the right bloodlines!

No Harbor Freight within more than 500 miles of me, so they're off the shopping list. I won't buy mail order because I prefer to look over the cheap junk before I spend any money on it. But when I lived in Texas, I bought and still have a fair bit of Harbor Freight merchandise.

I have four or five HF top links of various lengths. You can't tell them from the other brands, which are made in China too, and probably roll right off the same line. I have had no need for any of them since I installed a hydraulic top link which is infinitely adjustable right from the seat.

I am interested in adding hydraulic toplink to my Jinma 254 can anyone help. I have quick connects for the lines in the rear. I think I found the link and hoses at Surplus center but am unsure of what control valve is needed.
thanks

Ronald at Ranch hand has a kit for you to add a valve. ect., give him a call 757-650-9124. You cannot use the quick connects at the rear of the tractor for what you are wanting to do.

They are one way acting only, so you could use them for a dump trailer. You would adjust the knob under the seat to divert the three point lift control to the pressure side of these connectors and use it to lift. Hit lower and gravity will drain the dump ram back into the tank via the connector on the left. That is my understanding, if I don't know what the heck I'm talking about someone please speak up

You got it ! Single acting cylinder only, if you want a true rear remote you need to add a valve, pressure and return line
