It's been mighty slow here so I thought I'd bore y'all with some pics. Some shots of clearing and planting the garden, setting up my daughters pool, and swapping out an engine from a pressure washer my wife picked up for free (the previous owner let the pump freeze) into a walk behind weed eater that needed a spendy carb.

Totally agree
Is that a skreed board pivoting around the center point for the pool? Nice job!
Beautiful job on that garden – what are you using for the fence and is it working?
I see #1 daughter and Mrs. Tinbender are happy, and that's a very good thing.

The fence is chain link with 2×4 green wire fence on top. It's between 7 and 8', enough to keep the deer looking at other stuff to eat.(neighbors gardens with lower fences) At the Rashneesh compound they had deer jumping 14' fences as there was nothing else to eat for miles around! This is a tough place to grow a garden. I had to run the sprinklers all night three nights ago when it got down to thirty , supposed to be in the mid eighties today First frost of fall can be anywhere from mid August 'till late October, just a crap shoot. One year it snowed on the Fourth of July.

Now for a little research. Last night the weed eater with the Briggs
engine started bogging down then revving back up almost like a vacuum
leak. The air filter was plugged. Seems since this engine was on a pressure
washer the filter is made of foam, not expecting a dusty environment. Now
to find or make a paper filter/housing that will fit.

The 6.5 HP B & S Chinese clone on my Harbor Freight plate compactor has a foam element and it gets a real dusting. Seems to work pretty good. FWIW.

I'll wash it and re-oil it and see how long it takes to plug up again.
Note to self ; bring home some dust masks

Couldn't you wrap a dust mask around it? Kinda like a pre filter?

Just for you Bob Figure it can't hurt, heck I'm not blowing crap out of my nose this morning after using one last night. Only around two acres left to go
