Ihave a kama ts354c with about 250 hours on it and it needs clutch.I think it was adjusted wrong from factory but I didn't know better.I lent it out and it came back not able to move in 2 wheel drive and clutch burning smell,it will move in 4 wheel but not right. Can I change clutch my self? what kind of job? I have connections in china but not in tractor business can they pick up clutch assembly from shandong or does anyone in usa have KAMA parts?

Split tractor, removed clutch, discs looked good and not wet.Doesn't appear that
their was enough pressure on drive disc.Iam going to replace discs as long as I have it apart.Every thing else looks good in clutch assembly its a 6 finger clutch.any advice on reassembling clutch would help.

I'm wondering if you didn't have a roll pin break in your linkage, that would do what you are describing.

We have clutch alignment tools for the Jinma and Foton, but I do not think the splines are the same as the Kamas

If you or someone you know has a wood lathe you can whip one up pretty quick. I've been known to make one out of a ratchet handle (Snap-on's work the best) and masking or duct tape. (3/8 Snap on ratchet handles have a tapered end that fits in pilot bearings surprisingly well)

Back in the 70's I had someone turn down a piece of steel rod to make one for my Triumph TR4 clutch job. Still have it today, it is a beast of a center punch!

I had to split my tractor a couple months before Tommy came out with his clutch alignment tools, so I turned my own. No problem, as I have both wood and metal lathes in my shop. I made mine of metal and didn't bother with cutting the splines, just hit the correct diameters and shoulder locations. It works like a champ and the thing went together in minutes, working by myself.
If Tommy had had his available, I would have bought one, though. It took me a good couple hours shop time to mike and turn mine and that's too much time for what Tommy charges for his. I just had no choice at the time.
