        If anyone is interested at northern tool they have 15 watt led work lights on sale 2 for 24.99 item # 48276 and 18 watt for 44.99 item #39591, I remember a while back guys looking for these to take some load off the alternators over stock lights. The lights are listed to only pull 1 amp.

          I must have missed the sale David, but the #39591 lights are a bargain anyway considering the 1,200 lumen output (600 lumen each). So – two for the pickup truck. three for the mixer truck, three for the skid steer, and four for the excavator. By comparison, I have a 11,500 lumen, 100 watt LED light bar on my pickup that only draws nine amps, and it literally turns the blackest night into high noon daylight for 1/4 mile. These LED’s  beat halogen (incandescent), and HID sodium lights hands down.
