on my 2006 foton ft504a I have noticed that in the front right hub assmbly is losing gear oil .I pulled off the front rim to check the seal and it was all dry over the whole hub.I guess that it is going into the axle ,mine does not have a dipstick, just a vent and a plug on top, the dealer said just cover the axle when replacing lube.so I can not easily see if there is a volume change there.does anyone have a idea of what I should look at first?

Yep – look t the ground under it to see where it is dripping down and then track it back to point of origin. It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it.
I'd suggest you make yourself a dipstick of some sort that you can check the level with periodically to at least determine the rate of loss. Small losses are inevitable with any lubrication system and if it isn't serious I wouldn't sweat it much since there aren't any front brakes to get wet. It isn't a pressure lube situation and it may turn out that the loss is only due to thermal expansion – or not. A dipstick will tell you.

I looked at it alittle harder and it has 2 sight windows on the axle, one on each end and on opposite sides.it seems that it is over full I will suction some out. nowhere I seen in the operators manual it mentioned them. But it looks that there must be a internal seal that is between the hub and axle that is weeping.there is no oil on the ground.

well I took the sight windows out luckly they were 3/8 pipe thread ,I used a 3/8 x 1/8 brass reducer bushing and a 1/8 pipe plug, the 1/8 inch plug is about the same size as the window was ,they are so small I can not see how they could be any use.so next I will fill the side that is lossing oil to see if the axle starts to overfill.will get back later on.

well I am confused, I topped off all the levels except the one hub that was low.I added oil to that side and oil came to the top at the hub but did not run at the closest axle level plug.So I bushhogged 5 acres came back to look at it and when I pulled the plug on the side that was in question all the levels were right. But I heard some pressure build up when I removed the plug ,so I thought that the vent plug was plugged, which it had a problem, the spring was to long and would not collapse enough to let out air.but when I removed the plug for the level on that side it was overfull, could the gear cluster act like a pump and transfer oil from one side to the other? Is there a spillway that holds oil from moving freelly from one side to another?I am about ready to drink to many beers.
