I am sure some of you all read the hydraulic problems I had with my LW7 BH on my 354. I did get them fixed by making several modifications and the BH now runs like a champ.

I was helping a neighbor with some landscaping (digging out trees-replanting them, moving soil) and a friend of his came over to help. He currently has a Komasto track hoe and a Kabuto tractor w/fel 40hsp. He was very impressed with the work my BH was capable of and wanted to know where he could purchase one.  I told him not to bother unless he wanted to put up with the modifications I did and then it still may have other problems with the valve stack. I know some of you have had the LW series BH and then sold to replace with better models or have a model that runs good for you.  Anybody have a suggestion on a good BH for a fare price (runs good without all the problems of the Chinese models) that would match up to a Kabuto 40 hsp?

        Thanks

        Len

I would recomment the Ansung BH760.

I recently put a BH660 on my Jinma 284 and can't say enough about it.

Some backhoe brands to check out:

              Tomcat

              LiTW

              Ansung

              Bradco

              Woods

              Kelly

              Wallenstein

Not sure what a Kabuto tractor is.

Are you looking for a frame or three-point mount?

Are you going to run it off the tractor or PTO hydraulics?

I'd guess that's a typo and the actual tractor is a Kubota.  So why not just get a Kubota backhoe – they make one tailored to fit each of their tractors.   My neighbor has a little 18hp Shennui tractor and he has a small Kubota hoe for it.  I borrowed it once to use on my 304 Jinma and it worked fine – PTO pump, TPH mount and about a 6' digging depth.  A baby hoe, but significantly better than a shovel.roflmao
