        Hey guys,

Has anyone out there seen a snow blade cut from a 36″ or larger plastic pipe? Construction yard I drive by has some shorter pieces on a pile and I thought “Hmmm”. Reinforce and no sticking snow. BUT, I don't wanna try something that has been tried before and failed. Windmills in my mind turning already bout cutting it flared to right side, (like a county plow,) steel edge and quick tach. No angle tho as I have not yet added hyds. Just scared that the plastic wouldnt stand the temps and flex. AND that my chinese loader would be at a right angle off the front of tractor after first test!  What you all think? Thanks in advance. I remember one guy made one out of a warped piece of cardboard. I don't see why it would not work. I'd put together a spring loaded flip up device if you will be plowing in an unfamiliar area.

Depends on what type of plastic it is. PVC gets very brittle in freezing temps. Some Nylons may work, as well as some esters. Most polycarbonates won't do well at all.
