Went out to start tractor and rear wheel (non fel control side) was locked up. Tire would not turn in either forward or reverse. Possibility it could be frozen, there was water in them in the spring and drained them. I don't have a heated barn / garage and it is 18 degrees today. Any tricks for defrosting? If npot frozen, what could it be?
Probably water frozen in there and locked the brake on that wheel. I'd go after it with a propane torch, being careful not to get it too hot in one spot. After you get the housing warm it will melt any ice in there and you can then drain it again – along with the other wheel while you're at it.
