I'm in the process of replacing the failing QD's on the FEL of my Jinma 284. The ones I took off had I believe something like thread lock and were a bear to get off. Is something like that necessary to prevent leaking? I'd rather not go through the hassle if I need to remove them again.      Also I think I found out that the hydraulic hose fittings are not a metric thread. Is that true.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they are 3/4″ NPT.

Thanks Tommy – I got the pioneers from you guys. Great service and very helpful. Do you recommend anything on the threads. I hope not thread lock.

              Thanks again
