If I have to disconnet the steering hoses to split the tractor should I disconnect them at the steering cyclinder or at the top near the steering box to keep from losing fluid?
I would make that call where ever they are easiest to get a wrench on and plan on to drain the oil out of it , unless you can come up with the correct caps to seal the system off.
