I noticed the steering getting shaky and having to turn the steering wheel a lot more than normal – but not heavy.  The rubber boot covering the hydraulic ram rod was full of oil and some had sprayed onto the inside of the front tyre.  I took the ram off and had the seals replaced by a professional.

Reinstalling the ram I find I can get it to move occasionally (when not connected to the steering) and the connections trickle oil when backed off but their doesn't seem to be enough pressure.  The steering wheel moves infinitly in both directions with little resistance.

The oil resevoir is fully topped up and the FEL and 3PL are working as normal.

Do I need to bleed the lines or is their a bigger problem?  Thanks for your advice in advance.
