      You could weld on brackets and add snowplow shoes so that they are adjustable and removable….

        OK, first suggestion was best.  I changed started to no avail.  THEN I disconnected tie wraps on wiring harness and found a short to ground.

         

        Cleared the short and it started right up.

            Haven't even looked at it.  Weather is finally clearing for the weekend.  It's been raning all week.  frown

              Thanks, I ordered a new starter for it.  In the meantime I'll try that.

                Thanks, I checked it and it appears ok.  The clutch, when pressed, closes the switch.  I will look for shorts when it stops raining.

                  Thanks!!!  All fixed.  I removed shifter and side plate.  The gears were not aligned.  Jacked Front-end and spun front wheels by hand until aligned.  slipped in easily.  Re-assembled and it works great again.
