Bob I read on here somewhere that you used steel cable and a pulley for your brakes could you give me a drawing and list of parts you used like what size cable how long etc…hard to get the brakes adj just right with the solid linkage.I’d like a more stiffer brake right now they feel spongy.

Got it together…had to adjust on new brakeband a little…glade to get that job done…lol..tomar gonna get some seat time cleaning ditches and backdraggin roads…we had a sloppy winter made a mess round here

All I like now is putting tracks together filling up with oil seat rops and adjusting brake and clutch…ended up changing clutches springs brake and pressure plate and washer while I had it down…anybody that’s gonna tackle a job like this you don’t have to take saddle bag all the way off just unbolt it and lay it across where the seat sits…makes it a little easier..lol..off to pick up 85-120 and some aw32

Finally got it tore down …weather permitted lol…I’ve had a right track problem since I’ve owned the dozer I thought it was clutched slipping but finally found that the clutches was slipping in hub..it wore the teeth off inside of hub..I never woulda believed it…but Bob from northern is sending me one on warranty and a couple of lids for free I need that I lost somewhere Lol…wait in on parts again..haha

right part made it today…hopefully rain will stop in couple days so i can get back at it…might get to look for mushrooms to…hows your project goin rob

got parts today sent wrong side lol….started tearing it down anyway…pulled pin on tracks took off sprocket took wishbone loose got rops ready to come off went to get the ol ford jubilee and key sheared in pitman arm on left side..lol cant win for loosing

i looked up parts on circletractors 495…..not counting seals and gaskets bearings or gears…lol..rob i vant post pics on here but if you got a email i can do it that way or send it text if i had your number.the part i need is steering cllutch housing wat the manual got it listed as..i hope i dont have to tear it down that far but if i do itll b a adventure..lol

if i can figure out to post pics….it broke the housing that holds the brake bands and clutches looks like canopy gotta come off then pull final gear housing just to get it off….prob broke something inside causr when i got there it was locked up …had to drag that side and tram other side while being pulled with a d21a komatsu to get it out woods so i can tear into it….lol wish i brought phone in woods with me so i coulda videod it four hours gettin it to a place level and outta mud

i bought it two years ago i think…it was froze to the ground he thinks that wat done it after he got it loose he noticed track was loose so he tightned it started. back fixing road said it stopped pulling on one side got to looking at it seen the housing busted. im goin tomar to look at it..ill let u know and post some pics on wat i find…if warrantys out wonder how much a housiing will cost
