Trying to fix a leak. Oil is dripping (about one drip every 30 min) from that flange. I'm betting the o-ring underneath is toast.
My plan is to disconnect the hose like Tommy suggested but then see if I can raise it up above the level of the reservoir and tie it there.
That particular hose goes to the end of the valve block. I assume there is another hose from there to the reservoir? I will look when I get home.
I may not have the best memory but I am pretty sure i never saw the original post!
I disagree with your opinion that there is no need to answer the simple questions. What is simple to you isnt simple to all of us. We all have to start somewhere.
Besides….I would be the guy asking those kinds of questions!
I might suggest you glue that sucker down to something to prevent re-occurrence. Hot-melt glue, RTV, caulk, whatever you have handy. Except for some types of JB weld! Some have metal powder mixed in and are electrically conductive.
Is there a place that is best for this type of filter? What i mean is; where in the fuel system should it be placed?
No I found it at Level Developments
This is the one I'm installing.
Sounds like a reasonable idea. I'll add it to the growing list of upgrades / modifications.
First up is the pitch/roll gauge.
I'm speechless. Dear god! That was a dozer at one point? haha
I'm beyond impressed. You are taking this seriously. I think you're going to have a fine machine on your hands when you're done.
One thing: That new shift fork for the shuttle clutch… it doesn't seem to have the splines on the interior that the original does. Do you need a new shaft as well?
How are your other gauges working? Have you measured the voltage coming from your battery?
Wow. Now those are scary pics! Well done. You are being thorough.
What is your ultimate plan here? Total overhaul? Even the paint?
