Tried to upload this picture of my cat using the toilet just to see if upload worked.
Good idea, but I read somewhere, and have been following it, to raise
front wheels with loader. I've been raising front with loader/toothbar
embedded in the ground. An operators manual for an industrial backhoe will instruct the operator to do that with the front bucket in very hard digging conditions so that you don't drag yourself backwards while you are digging. But if the digging is that hard then a AG tractor with a small attachment backhoe is probably not the machine for the job.
Most of my BH work is trenching so I actually spend little time on the
seat before moving the tractor again. So…the seat is not all that
important as long as I can easily use the controls. If I were digging
stumps and spending a lot of time without moving the tractor the seat
comfort would be more important. The way I have done it for many years to the raise the outriggers push the tractor ahead with the backhoe, drop the outriggers and keep digging. A person will get a lot more digging done than climbing from one seat to another every couple of minutes.
I cant figure out how to copy and paste, this is my new Apple computer
and it does not work the same as my old computer, I cant drag pics in
either, oh well I have hoe work to do.Copy and paste is the same as windows except use the command key instead of the control key. So copy is command C and paste is command V. Not sure what you mean by drag pics in???
These are the only guys I know of that can help you with Rhino stuff.
Having a relay for the glow plugs or manifold heater takes the high amp load away from the key switch. Just a good idea IMHO.
I second what Bob said. That's why horns have a relay. A small wire closes the circuit and a bigger wire takes the load.
Since these machines are famous for having too light of wiring I would bet that you will overload the circuit if you connect to both. I would say one of the other unless you want to run a new circuit.
I will dig around a little to see what I can find out about the site and security.
“I think the real reason behind the light is to indicate that the key
switch circuit is closed. Since these engines aren't equipped with shut
down solenoids, it's a reminder that the switch is on.”That's exactly right Bob. It was very common on the tractors for people to leave the key on then come back to a dead battery at some future date. Some tractors would count up hours on the meter because the key was on.
Brock,
You say you got nothing at the tach sender. That seems strange. Of the ones I tested on Chinese tractors there was about .5 volts at idle and about 4 3/4 volts at full throttle. The values are in AC not DC.
